the end is near....

the end of the semester is approaching us and this has been a long semester this was an very interesting class and I learned alot and some of the work that we have done in this class I would of never been able to do if it wasn't for this class. if you were to recommend our composing cyberspace class to other students what would you tell them?

  1. I would recommend having a background in making websites and using html and technology because the concepts are complex for someone who has never been involved with those things much.

  2. As far as blogging and podcasting goes i'd say that was a pretty cool thing to learn how to do. Creating websites using html and other things is more along the lines of a computer science major and can be tricky.

  3. Having a background in the material helps. I have had little bits and pieces of some of this information such as working on a web page and podcasting but not too this extent. It's still rough but if you have a concept of some of these things, it will make it easier. The skills gained in the class are definitely things that can be used as marketing tools once placed in the "real world."

  4. I would say be prepared to learn some things that are probably outside of what you'd teach yourself. I personally have had previous experience with HTML so for me this class was highly enjoyable, though I do agree if you don't know the basics it can be a little difficult at times. I think though that these are all great skills to have, even if it's just the basics, because we're part of an increasingly digital world.
